Hyderabad: TRS President and Chief Minister K. Chandrashekar Rao has urged people to throw the BJP government in the Bay of Bengal because Prime Minister Narendra Modi is engaging in "religious politics."

On Tuesday, the Chief Minister participated in a number of developmental programmes in Wanaparthy district headquarters, including the launch of the Mana Ooru Mana Badi project.

In the Assembly on Wednesday, Rao claimed he would make a huge announcement for unemployed youth. "On Wednesday at 10 a.m., all of the youths should be in front of the television stations to hear that announcement."

Continuing his attack on the BJP, he said that religious and casteist approaches to politics are hazardous, but that the saffron party has been using them for its own selfish gain.

Rao called the BJP's leaders “idiots” and said the saffron flag should be flown over the Bay of Bengal. He slammed Prime Minister Modi, calling his "foolishness and stubbornness” were hurdles for development. "The Telangana administration recommended raising 10 percent  reservations for tribals and Valmiki Boyas, but  Narendra Modi  ignored it," the chief minister said.
