Though the heatwave is gradually increasing throughout UP, the weather ministry has issued an alert for changes in the weather in some districts of Purvanchal. According to the Meteorological Department's estimate, there is a possibility of rain in the next few hours in some districts bordering Bihar. The districts which are expected to receive rainfall in the next few hours are Prayagraj, Sonbhadra, Chandauli, Mirzapur, and Bhadohi. The Meteorological Ministry has not only expressed the possibility of rain but also the possibility of a severe thunderstorm has been expressed. According to the estimates, these four districts and the adjoining districts can experience thunderstorms at a speed of 60 km per hour. The Meteorological Department has warned that it should be avoided during the time of storm. Kutcha houses may suffer a loss due to rainfall with strong gusts of wind.
Prayagraj expected to get relief from rain: However, due to rain, people in all these districts are going to get some hours of relief. The people of Prayagraj will get the maximum relief, where the temperature has crossed 41 degrees Celsius. The maximum temperature of the day in Prayagraj on Thursday has been recorded at 41.4 degrees Celsius. Night temperatures have also been recorded around 23 degrees Celsius. A slight drop in temperature can be seen due to rain and thunderstorms.
Fear of damage to crops: It has been learned that on the other hand, there is a possibility of damage to Rabi crops as well. Wheat and pulses crops are ready at all places. In such a situation, the possibility of damage to crops due to rains and rains has become even more intensified. The effect of mild variations in the weather is also seen in Lucknow and its adjoining districts. However, this change is limited only to the light movement of clouds. There is no possibility of rain in any way here by the Meteorological Department. There is no possibility of rain in western UP as well.
