New Delhi: A sensational case has come to light from the protest site of the 'Kisan' movement against the agriculture law brought by the Central government. A man was reportedly burnt alive near tikri border as a martyr and was also made with caste ist remarks. A case has now been registered on the statement of the brother of the deceased. The horrific incident in the name of agitation took place near Kasar village on Bahadurgarh bypass at 3 pm last Wednesday. Mukesh was a resident of Kasar and had come to join the agitation in the evening. According to media reports, Mukesh was first drunk. Then, when there was a dispute, he was declared a martyr and he was sprayed with petrol and set on fire.

After the incident, some users on social media are saying that Kasar is a village of Brahmins and handed over Mukesh to Krishna and another accused saying that Brahmin farmers do not come into the movement. Mukesh was immediately admitted to a nearby civil hospital after the incident where he underwent treatment and was then referred to a critical condition. The family then took him to Brahmashakti Sanjeevani Hospital. But he died there a few hours later.

In a complaint to the police, Mukesh's brother MadanLal said, ''My brother Mukesh had left home around 5pm on Wednesday. On the way, the farmer approached the agitators. I came to know from the phone call that the brother was set on fire by the agitators by spraying petrol with the intention of killing him. When I immediately reached the spot with former Sarpanch Tony, my brother Mukesh was severely scorched. We immediately brought him to the civil hospital. During treatment here, Mukesh said that a man named Krishna (dressed in white) first drank alcohol and then set him on fire. This left him badly scorched. After Mukesh's death, police have registered a case based on Madanlal's statement and initiated action." The accused are said to be absconding at present.
