New Delhi: Tik Tok CEO Kevin Mayer has resigned from his post. According to AFP report, there has been a discussion in the US for the past few weeks about banning TikTok. US President Donald Trump has made it clear that either the company will sell its American business or the app will be banned.

It is noteworthy that Kevin Mayer was made CEO of TikTok only four months ago. Prior to this he was the top executive at Disney. Kevin Mayer said, 'Political invoices have changed a lot in the last few weeks. I have made the changes that were needed, and for which I was placed in the global role '. A TikTok spokesperson has said that the company respects the decision of Kevin Mayer. It has also been said by the company that political dynamics have changed in the last few months.

For the past few months, there is a danger of getting banned on the Tik Tok app in America. US President Donald Trump recently said that the company should sell its US business within 90 days. If it is not sold within 90 days, the app will be banned. However, recently, TikTok has also confirmed that the company will challenge this order of Donald Trump and will file a case against him.
