Chinese video-sharing social networking app Tik Tok is now focusing on giving another feature to its customers. It is testing the ability to record longer three-minute videos so that users can get more freedom. According to social media consultant Matt Navarra, the feature is in an early access stage. He gave this information through Twitter.

Navarra tweeted late on Wednesday, "TikTok is rolling out the ability to upload longer videos of up to 3 minutes long." The company currently allows creators to upload videos up to a minute in length only. It currently allows all creators to upload videos up to a minute in length and the formula has been successful as it is shorter than most YouTube videos.

The Indian government has banned a total of 224 apps since June this year. Besides Tik Tok the popular app which was banned includes  Shareit, UC Browser, and WeChat.  Meanwhile, TikTok rival Facebook-owned Instagram Reels has doubled the length of the videos that can be uploaded, taking it from 15 seconds to 30 seconds. Also,  it will to face YouTube that allows user to create and upload a video of 15 seconds or less.
