Season 31 of Dancing With the Stars will soon be premiering, and according to Deadline, the dancing reality show will soon reveal the celebrity candidates. They include Charli D'Amelio, a TikTok star, and her mother, Heidi. The mother-daughter team will dance for the mirror ball trophy in season 31 and will face off against one another, according to Deadline.

Charli D’Amelio is one of the most famous TikTok stars with more than 145 million followers. D'Amelio is renowned for having attracted attention for both her dancing and her beauty films in which she tests out novel items. Charli's performances have been featured on TikTok, and earlier this year, she collaborated with Derek Hough to recreate a moment from the 1987 movie Dirty Dancing for his ABC programme Step... Into the Movies with Derek and Julianne.

The D'Amelio Show, which aired for two seasons, also featured Charli and her family as guests. The reality programme chronicles D'Amelio's rise to fame as a social media influencer. The first season's eight episodes followed Charli, Dixie, Marc, and Heidi D'Amelio as they relocated from their home state of Connecticut to Los Angeles. The programme also featured Charli and Dixie's struggles with their mental health as they faced online abuse and other issues.
