In India, applying mehndi or henna is considered an omen. The colour of mehndi is definitely included in women's makeup in these festivals. Apart from this, it is difficult for the bride to imagine marriage without mehndi. That is, there are many benefits of Mehendi and it has also become a custom. But Mehendi looks beautiful only when its colour becomes darker. If the colour of your Mehendi does not turn dark red then you need to adopt some tips.
Leave mehndi on for longer
Try to keep the mehndi overnight for 7-8 hours. If possible, keep it for 12 hours. By doing this, the colour of mehndi darkens.
Use of lemon and sugar
The biggest advantage of using lemon and sugar is that, with the help of it, the mehndi stays on your palm as long as you want to keep it. This makes the colour of mehndi darker. Soak cotton balls in a mixture of sugar and lemon juice and then apply it on Mehendi.
Take clove smoke on the palms
After adding the sugar and lemon solution, place some cloves in a pan. Then carefully turn your palms towards the pan. Put your hands on the pan to take the smoke of clove on Mehendi. By doing this, the sugar-lemon solution will also dry up.
Do not wash with soap and water
Most of us face great difficulty in keeping Mehendi for 8-10 hours. So in a hurry, do not wash it with water or even soap. By doing this, the colour of your Mehendi does not get darker and it disappears very quickly.
