Festival of colors has arrived with spring. While Holi is heavily celebrated in the northern parts of the country, everyone is excited. People come together to celebrate the win of good over evil, people eat, play with colors, play music, games, and dance. Though this year will be slightly different due to the ongoing pandemic it shouldn’t. So splash around some colour and wish loved ones happy Holi.

Here we got you some useful tips for safe Holi. We can be better prepared this Holi season by observing the following precautions: 

~ Always wear masks and take adequate precautions like sanitizing your hands and maintaining social distancing, for protection 
~Avoid greeting others with a hug. Use other ways to greet each other instead
~Even if you are meeting people, just exchange sweets and get back home
~Stay away from watercolours, once the masks get wet, they will not protect you 

~Use protective gear, including protective eyeglasses
~Do not use toxic chemical colours which may cause symptoms like irritation, redness, allergies
~Do not rub your eyes as hands may be dirty causing infections, instead blink a few times rapidly
~Use a gentle stream of water to let the colour flow out
