tyle="text-align:justify">Tamil Nadu:According to the police, the tinny gold foils prized at Rs.25 lakh, allegedly trafficked from Dubai, have been detained at the airport here and one person arrested in this connection.

Customs Superintendent Pannerselvam said. “ Abdul Sakoor (37) of Kasaragod in Kerala had come yesterday to collect his baggage. When his baggage was scanned, customs officials found thin gold foils weighing 820 grams concealed inside a parcel.”

Officials said, “The parcel was seized and he was arrested”

As per the senior officials, “Abdul Sakoor had arrived here from Dubai on May 2 but his baggage came later”
