Tirupati: After special pujas were performed at Srivari's feet on Sunday morning, srivari lakshmi haram procession was held from temple to magnificent mandapam as part of the brahmotsavam of Sri Padmavati Amman, on the day of Gajavahanam, the most important Lakshmi Haram from the treasurer of Srivari jewellery. Srivari Lakshmihara was moved to Tiruchanur in a safe vehicle from Tirumala on Sunday.
In the evening, Padmavathi Amma varu srivari lakshmihara is celebrated in grand style, government VIP Cheevi Reddy, Bhaskar Reddy handed over silk clothes to amma for gajavahana service. The ear-reddy couple brought silk from the Sri Kalyana Venkateswara Swamy Temple in Venkateswara temple and presented it to Padmavathi Devi. Every year on the Gajavahana Service Day, it is customary to bring and offer silk garments from the Kalyana Venkateswara Swamy temple. This time, despite heavy rains, Chevi Reddi, Bhaskar Reddy couple continued the tradition of offering silk clothes to Padmavathi Devi.
Dudhduronto Special Train: So far 40 million litres of milk have been transported.
