Tirupati: Corona is wreaking havoc in Tirupati city of Andhra Pradesh. Many people have died due to Corona. According to the information, the total lockdown has been imposed till August 5. This decision has been taken in view of the case of Corona growing continuously in the city at this time. The decision in this regard has been taken by the local administration. According to the information received, it has been decided at this time that all temples including Lord Tirupati Balaji will remain open.

Due to the lockdown in the city, the Tirupati Trust has decided that it will stop its offline omnidirectional ticket system for the time being. Now only online time slots will be available for admission and darshan in the temple. Due to the corona epidemic, the entire Tirupati city has been declared a Containment Zone by the administration. The administration has also said to close all the boundaries of the city. The entire city has been locked down till August 5. Only essential services will be continued in this lockdown. The vehicles of the temple have been allowed to run.

Even in the staff of Tirupati temple, the number of corona infected has crossed 170. Former chief priest of the temple Srinivasa Dixitulu died on Monday due to corona infection. Since then, the temple trust has been pressurized to stop the darshan in the temple and the staff organizations here are constantly demanding that the darshan in the temple be stopped. The temple trust has not been able to come to any conclusion in this regard.
