"TMC workers were trying to capture booth. They were campaigning among Muslims there. This isn't election campaign," said BJP General Secy and party candidate from Raiganj Debasree Chaudhuri. However it is worth mention here that the 95 parliamentary constituencies across 11 states and 1 UT, where polling is being held in the second of the seven-phased Lok Sabha election, registered 12.69 per cent voter turnout till 11 am. To be noted that states witnessing polls on Thursday are Assam, Bihar, Chhattisgarh, Jammu and Kashmir, Karnataka, Maharashtra, Manipur, Odisha, Tamil Nadu, Uttar Pradesh, West Bengal, and Puducherry.it is to be noted that polling will continue till 6 pm in most states and union territories.
