Kolkata: BJP and Trinamool Congress (TMC) workers joined together while on foot in Howrah, West Bengal. There was a quarrel between the BJP and the TMC workers about the flag. Two BJP workers were injured during the clashes. After the incident, a series of allegations and counter-allegations have begun in both the parties.

After a clash, the activists jammed several roads and blew motorcycles in place. According to information, BJP workers were marching on Saturday morning near the Liluah Matwala intersection of the Belur police station area. At the same time, TMC workers were heard to flag the flag. After the case, the BJP accused the police that the police had met with TMC workers.

Earlier today, PM Modi also arrived in Kolkata. They will take part in a program of Parakram Diwas here. It may be recalled that the 125 birth anniversary of Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose has been announced as Parakram Diwas across India. Mamata Banerjee of West Bengal had arrived at the ancestral residence of Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose at Elgin Road in Kolkata.
