Mumbai: Something happened to municipal co-commissioner Kalpita Pingle who had gone to take action against a hawker who was setting up a stall unauthorisedly that will make you lose consciousness after knowing it. In fact, Kalpita Pingle was fatally attacked by a vegetable shopkeeper with a knife. Assistant Commissioner Kalpita Pingle of Majewada area of Thane adjoining Mumbai was reportedly seriously injured and two fingers of his hand were cut off. Not only that, but he has also suffered a serious head injury. The attacker is said to be Amarjeet Yadav in the case.

Kalpita Pingle, who was injured in the hawker's attack, was immediately admitted to Vedanta Hospital, though he was shifted to Jupiter Hospital in Thane in view of the severity of the injuries. Pingle's bodyguard reportedly stepped forward to save him when he was being attacked, but the hawker had attacked him too. During all this, the bodyguard also had a finger amputated and he was also seriously injured. Tell you that there is a hawker's den at the main junction near Kasarwadwali in Thane and they unauthorizedly sell their goods on the roads.

A drive was launched against all of them by municipal assistant commissioner Kalpita Pingle, who went to remove the hawkers, was attacked with a sharp knife by a vegetable shopkeeper. When the attack took place, two fingers of one hand of Pingle were cut off in the attack and he was seriously injured. On getting information about this incident, the attacking hawker Amarjeet Yadav was immediately arrested by the police. Not only this but the knife which was with him was also confiscated by the police.
