Patna: The Bihar government is making all efforts to make the prohibition law a success. The government is now going to engage government teachers in this work as well. In Bihar, the teachers will now identify the drunkards and the suppliers of liquor and inform the liquor prohibition department. For this, the education department on Friday issued an order.

Additional Chief Secretary of the Education Department Sanjay Kumar has written a letter to all the Regional Deputy Directors of Education, District Education Officers and other officers of the state. The letter states that there are reports that spurious liquor is still being consumed by certain persons. It is very important to stop it. He further wrote in the letter, "In this regard, directions are given that a meeting of the Education Committee in primary and middle schools should be convened and necessary information regarding de-addiction should be given. The letter also directs to ensure that the school does not use the school premises after the school term.''

It is to be noted that there is a ban on the consumption and sale of any kind of alcohol in Bihar. But recently, people have died due to the consumption of poisonous liquor in many cities of the state. Due to this, there is a hue and cry about the amendment of this law in the state. The opposition is constantly questioning the Nitish government. Chief Minister Nitish has made it clear that he will not remove this law.
