Knowing about the condition of the weather, the process of rain is visible from the northeastern states to Kashmir. In fact, due to the Southwest Monsoon and pre-monsoon activities, many states of the country are receiving rain or heavy rains. At the same time, IMD has again issued an alert of heavy rain in some parts of Assam. At the same time, due to heavy rains in the Kashmir Valley, problems have arisen due to the rivers overflowing. Simultaneously, according to the India Meteorological Department, now-a-days, parts of Sikkim, Sub-Himalayan West Bengal, parts of Assam, Meghalaya, Konkan and Goa, Coastal Karnataka, parts of Andaman and Nicobar Islands are scattered. Moderate to heavy rain with a chance of rain.

Apart from this, an alert of heavy rain has been issued in Odisha, South Chhattisgarh, Madhya Maharashtra Coastal Karnataka and South Gujarat with light to moderate rain at one or two places. Whereas, light to moderate rain may occur over rest of Northeast India, parts of Bihar, Jharkhand, West Bengal, Interior Odisha, Vidarbha, Marathwada, Telangana, Kerala, Interior Karnataka, Lakshadweep, South Gujarat and Western Himalayas. With this, light rain is possible in Chhattisgarh and Tamil Nadu. On the other hand, the weather is likely to remain dry for at least the next 3 to 4 days over Western Himalayas, Punjab, Haryana, Delhi, Rajasthan, Kutch, most parts of Uttar Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh, western parts of Jharkhand and most parts of Bihar. With this, light to moderate rain occurred in the last 24 hours in Bikaner, Jodhpur, Jaipur, Ajmer, Kota and Bharatpur divisions of Rajasthan. The weather will be mainly dry from June 23 to 26 and the department has predicted one more rain in Udaipur and Kota divisions by June 26-27.

With this, due to the influence of southwesterly wind coming from the Bay of Bengal, there is a possibility of widespread rain in West Bengal and Sikkim in the next 4-5 days. In fact, according to the IMD, there may be heavy rain at isolated places in the sub-Himalayan districts of Darjeeling, Kalimpong, Jalpaiguri, Cooch Behar and Alipurduar and Sikkim. On the other hand, there is a possibility of rain under the influence of south and southwest wind from the Bay of Bengal.

Simultaneously, the India Meteorological Department (IMD) said that the southwest monsoon will reach Delhi around its normal date, June 27, and the deficit will be compensated for by the end of June. The pre-monsoon rains over the past three days have reduced the rainfall deficit in Delhi and the IMD had earlier said that the monsoon is likely to make landfall over many parts of northwest India between June 23 and June 29.
