New Delhi: Today is the first anniversary of the soldiers who were martyred in a murderous clash between Indian and Chinese troops in the Galwan Valley in eastern Ladakh. Speaking on the occasion, Interim Congress President Sonia Gandhi on Tuesday said that even after a year of time, there is no clarity on the situation related to the incident and the government should take the country into confidence and ensure that its steps are in line with the commitment of the jawans of the country.

Recalling the sacrifices of the armies, Sonia Gandhi said that the struggle with the chinese PLA on the night of June 14-15, 2020 has completed one year. 20 of our jawans of bihar regiment were killed in it. The Congress stands with the country in remembering the supreme sacrifice of our armies. At the same time, she claimed that India suffered from the agreement signed with China to withdraw the army personnels.

Sonia said, it was waited with great patience that the government would come forward and inform the country about the situations in which this unexpected incident took place and it will convince the people that the sacrifice of our jawans will not go in vain. Now the Congress party again expresses its concern that there is no clarity so far and PM Modi's last statement on the subject came last year that there was no infiltration.
