The weather changed its color on the day of Mahashivaratri. After the intense sunlight throughout the day, a strong wind started blowing from around 4 o'clock in the evening. There were thunder, rain, and hail observed. Due to the strong wind, the branches of trees fell on the road in many places. There was light sunshine along with rain.

The weather ministry has also started a yellow alert for the next 48 hours. According to the State Meteorological Ministry on Thursday, the southern part of the state (East Singhbhum, West Singhbhum, Simdega, and Seraikela-Kharsawan), northwestern parts (Palamu, Garhwa, Chatra, Koderma, Latehar, and Lohardaga) is full of clouds and light rain is expected with thunder. At the same time, on 12 and 13 March, a yellow alert has been issued. It states that there is a possibility of thunder and thunderstorms in the northwestern (Palamu, Garhwa, Chatra, Koderma, Latehar, and Lohardaga) and southern parts (East Singhbhum, West Singhbhum, Simdera, and Seraikela-Kharsawan) parts of the state.

According to the Ministry of Meteorology, Jamshedpur was the hottest in Jharkhand. The highest temperature was also recorded on Thursday. The meteorological department says that Jharkhand has recorded the highest temperature of 38.4° C in Jamshedpur while the lowest minimum temperature of 17.6° C has been recorded in Chaibasa. At the same time, the maximum temperature expected to be is 38.0° C, and the minimum temperature to be is 21.0° C on 12 March. There will be frequent weather fluctuations.
