An orange alert has been issued in 23 cities of the state. According to the Meteorological Department, it may rain heavily in some places in 23 districts and torrential rain may occur in some areas. The Meteorological Department issued heavy rain alert in Ajmer, Alwar, Banswara, Baran, Bharatpur, Bhilwara, Bundi, Chittorgarh, Dausa, Dungarpur, Jaipur, Jhalawar, Jhunjhunu, Karauli, Kota, Pratapgarh, Rajsamand, Sawaimadhopur, Sikar, Sirohi, Tonk and Udaipur districts. There is a possibility of moderate to heavy rain with thunder.
The weather department has issued a yellow alert for two cities of western Rajasthan. According to the weather forecast, heavy rains may occur at some places in Bikaner and Jalore cities of western Rajasthan. The period of rain is likely to continue continuously in the state for a few days. According to the Meteorological Department, such a condition remains, due to which there is a possibility of rain for the next three to four days.
