The Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued alerts for heavy to very heavy rainfall across various regions, including Himachal Pradesh, East Uttar Pradesh, and Uttarakhand. Delhi is expected to experience light to moderate rains in areas such as Narela, Bawana, and Akshardham.

Heavy Rainfall Alerts for East and Northeast India
The IMD has predicted significant rainfall in West Bengal and Sikkim over the coming week. Heavy to very heavy rains are expected in Sub-Himalayan West Bengal and Sikkim on September 27, followed by heavy showers on September 28 and October 2. Additionally, specific alerts have been issued for heavy rainfall in Jharkhand on September 27, Bihar on September 28, and the states of Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram, and Tripura between September 30 and October 2.

Weather Outlook for West India
For West India, IMD forecasts widespread light to moderate rain in Konkan, Goa, Madhya Maharashtra, and Gujarat through September 29. Regions in Madhya Maharashtra, the Gujarat region, Saurashtra, and Kutch are on alert for heavy rainfall on September 28.

Northwest India to Witness Heavy Rains
Northwestern states will also see intense weather activity, with heavy to very heavy rainfall anticipated in Himachal Pradesh on September 27. Uttarakhand is expected to experience very heavy rains on September 28.

Rainfall Forecast for South Peninsular India
The IMD expects scattered to widespread light to moderate rainfall across South Peninsular India this week. Specific alerts have been issued for heavy rainfall in Kerala and Mahe from September 28 to 30, South Interior Karnataka on September 29, and Coastal Karnataka on September 30. However, the region overall may see rainfall patterns ranging from below normal to normal.
