Kolkata: Counting of votes for the elections is being held in The Union Territory of Puducherry along with West Bengal, Assam, Kerala, and Tamil Nadu today. After a while, it will be clear who is winning from where. The color of the elections has faded due to the corona period this year. On the other hand, counting of votes is also taking place amidst all the restrictions. Meanwhile, all eyes are on the results of the Bengal elections this time. The election is basically being considered between BJP and TMC. Though most exit polls predict the return of the TMC, according to some surveys, the BJP will form the government in the state.

Now, there is also curiosity about CM Mamata Banerjee's seat in the Bengal elections. In fact, this is also because for the first time she has entered the fray from Nandigram instead of her seat Bhavanipur. Suvendu Adhikari, who is close to her, who is now in the BJP, is pitted against her. In Bengal, the TMC is leading in 161 seats in the trends of 286 seats, and the BJP is leading in 117 seats. The Left alliance is still leading in 4 seats and others are leading in 4 seats.

Suvendu Adhikari is currently leading by 8,106 votes after the third round in Nandigram. BJP's Babul Supriyo is currently lagging behind in Tollygunge. The Election Commission has said that in Nandigram, Suvendu Adhikari has got 7,287 votes so far while Mamata Banerjee has got 5,790 votes.
