The green Indian challenge taken up by stars is garnering a lot of appreciation. Recently, Telugu star Sudheer Babu got joined with the Green India Challenge that was initiated by TRS MP Joginapally Santosh Kumar. He accepted the challenge by planting a sapling at his residence near Gandipet in the city. The V star was nominated by actor Naveen Krishna and he thanked Santosh Kumar for being a torchbearer of such a public and important cause.

He said, “I am confident that the plantation drive which was started by Santosh Kumar Garu, would bring new thoughts and energy in our lives. We are very pleased to take up the initiative and be a part of it. Keeping pollution and environmental aspects in view, Santosh Garu has been inspiring people in the country. I have accepted the challenge and planted trees in my garden. And the occasion also marks the celebration of movie V which was released recently.”

Sudheer Babu also said that from now, he would plant a sapling before every release of his movie. Also, people should plant trees before starting any new work. The Baaghi actor said, “I also recommend my children to take up plantation during every occasion of their lives, be it passing examinations or after fetching a new job, etc.,”. He additionally nominated producer Dil Raju, director Indraganti Mohana Krishna, actor Nivetha Thomas and Aditi Rao Hydari to further continue the chain. On the work front, Sudheer Babu's latest flick 'V' got released digitally and has garnered massive appreciations by the movie buffs as well as critics.
