New Delhi [India], Jan 26: When Mission Impossible fame movie actor Tom Cruise makes his Instagram debut, he makes sure that it is with a death-defying stunt. The Mission: Impossible star, known for shooting high-octane action sequences himself, is on Instagram finally and he is hanging off a helicopter. The 55-year-old actor officially joined the social media platform on Thursday and in not even 24 hours, he has got more than 700k followers.
The Oscar-winning star wasted no time and kicked off his Insta-journey with a big announcement. Sharing a black and white picture of a film slate, he revealed the title of ‘Mission: Impossible 6’, which will be ‘Mission: Impossible - Fallout’. The photo also teased a release date of Summer 2018. For his second post, Cruise chose to give a sneak peek of the upcoming film, where he shared a photo of himself, hanging off a helicopter as it flew through the air. In August the actor, who's known for doing his own stunts, was injured in London when he jumped between buildings and slammed into a wall, leaving him limping. While Cruise was supposed to hit the wall, according to director Christopher McQuarrie, he hit at a slightly different angle on the fourth take and broke his ankle. Production went on hiatus while he recovered. His Instagram bio reads, “Actor. Producer. Running in movies since 1981.”
