On Saturday, author Tom Holland's mentions on Twitter were flooded with Indian admirers uploading images and tagging him for the Nita Mukesh Ambani Cultural Centre (NMACC) event. Tom Holland, who portrays Spider-Man in the Marvel world, came in Mumbai with his girlfriend and co-star Zendaya on Friday to attend the NMACC's grand opening weekend.

Posting a photo of Tom and Zendaya smiling with Salman Khan, Shah Rukh Khan, and Nita Ambani from a fan account, the author wrote, "Please make it stop."

One person wrote to him, "I am wheezing as I type this, but sincere apologies on behalf of my fellow countrymen, Mr Holland." The author replied, "It seems like I have the whole of India in my timeline!"
The author then jokingly wrote, "Phew," as he hoped the spotlight would soon fade away when another tweet revealed that Tom and Zendaya had left the country on Monday.

The actor has 7.2 million Twitter followers and 66.9 million Instagram followers. On Instagram, where he is more active, he uploaded his pictures from the NMACC event the next day.
