New Delhi: Delhi Police on Thursday told the Delhi High Court that it has not leaked any information to the media regarding its investigation into the FIR for its alleged involvement in sharing an ongoing toolkit against climate activist Disha Ravi. The court was hearing Ravi's plea seeking to stop the police from leaking any investigation material in the media in connection with the FIR lodged against her.

Justice Rekha Palli said that considering that the petition raises an important question of public importance, it should be listed for debate on September 27. Advocate Rajat Nair representing Delhi Police said the leak has not taken place on his behalf. In its response filed through advocate Amit Mahajan, the police said that it was alleged that Ravi's chat information had been leaked by the police, which is a lie. An affidavit filed by Special Cell Deputy Commissioner of Police Anesh Roy said that no media house or person has been shared by the police with any media house or person except any information or document information that forms part of the case file including subject chat.

Is officially communicated through press briefings or broadcasts, which is a matter of record. Senior advocate Akhil Sibal appearing for Ravi informed the court that the arguments in the case have been completed. He said her personal conversation was leaked to the media when Ravi was in custody.
