Lucknow: The government of the country's state UP has directed the test and verification of top 20 buyers of urea. The Agriculture Department has also issued necessary orders in this regard. Additional Chief Secretary Agriculture Dr Devesh Chaturvedi said that all collectors have been instructed to take the list of top 20 buyers of urea fertilizer from the portal in August and September.
Thereafter, the information should be uploaded on the dashboard by 27th October by conducting checks and verification. Similarly, legal action should be taken against the culprits by conducting investigation and verification by the 10th of the month from the October list portal on November one and every month to come from the list portal. The information has also been ordered to be uploaded on the dashboard of the Government of India.
On the other hand, the situation of COVID-19 in the country is improving rapidly. So far, 90% of the people have been cured from Corona in India. The number of active cases in the country is also decreasing. The recovery rate of the country is also increasing. The number of daily cases in the country has also come down to 50 thousand. According to the latest data of the Union Health ministry, 50,129 new cases of corona have been reported in the country in the last 24 hours. In the meantime, 578 people have died from COVID-19.
