Mumbai: The list of the world's best CEOs includes the country's richest man Mukesh Ambani, Indian Oil Corporation (IOC) Chief Sanjeev Singh and ONGC Chairman Shashi Shankar. CEO World Magazine has released a list of the world's most influential chief executives in 2019. Ten Indian CEOs are included in the list.

ArcelorMittal's head and CEO Lakshmi Niwas Mittal is the highest-ranking Indian CEO. However, his company has been portrayed as a Luxembourg company. In the list of 121 global CEOs, Reliance Industries Chairman and Managing Director Ambani is ranked 49th, IOC's Singh 69th and ONGC's Head and Managing Director Shashi Shankar at 77th position.

Other Indian CEOs on the list include State Bank of India Chairman Rajneesh Kumar (83rd), Tata Motors CEO Guenter Batshek (89th), BPCL Chairman and Managing Director D Rajkumar (94th), Rajesh Mehta (99th), Tata Exports Executive Chairman Consultancy Services CEO Rajesh Gopinathan and Wipro CEO Abidali Jade Neemuchwala (118th) are in the position. Petroleum Minister Dharmendra Pradhan has retweeted the list of CEOs.

The magazine reported that Walmart CEO Douglas McMillan is in the first place, which is not surprising.
