One of the EV maker Tork Motors is all set to launch its new electric bike in the Indian market tomorrow, the 75th Republic Day of India. The Tork Kratos e-bike was formerly known as the Tork T6X, but the motorbike is said to have gone a long way in the previous several years with significant development.

It is based on the T6X concept car, which was unveiled in September 2016.  The Tork Intuitive Response Operating System will be used in the Kratos EV, which is the company's own operating system (TIROS). This feature basically improves the overall user experience by managing functions such as power management, real-time power consumption, data compilation, and range forecasts. In addition, the model is said to have gps, anti-theft, geo-fencing, and a mobile charging port.

Tork's in-house built battery and axial flux motor will power the motorbike, making it a wholly Indian-made product. Its performance will be comparable to that of 150cc-160cc sports commuter motorcycles currently on the market in India.

The Pune-based EV manufacturer has earlier also stated that the bike has undergone detailed research and that it has left no stone unturned to ensure that buyers receive a well-engineered product. Kratos, according to the EV manufacturer, is India's first indigenously developed and engineered motorbike to hit the market.

Customers will have to wait at least a few months for deliveries of the new Tork electric bike, which will begin soon after the bike's launch. The Tork Kratos is expected to be launched in India at a price of around Rs. 1.40 lakh.
