Tork Motors Delivers First Set of its Electric Motorcycles

India’s first electric motorcycle manufacturer, Tork Motors, has commenced deliveries of the much-awaited KRATOS-R in Pune. The first set of electric motorcycles was delivered to customers directly from the company headquarters in Pune, however, the delivery of the electric motorcycles is limited to only the Pune religion.

CEO & Founder of Tork Motors Kapil Shelke told ANI, We are proud to deliver the first batch of KRATOS®-R. The past few months have been full of action for Team Tork; the production teams have had sleepless nights and extended efforts to overcome the supply chain gaps and commence deliveries of the KRATOS®-R in Pune. I am elated by the patience, trust and support received from our customers. The incomparable trust shown in our brand has kept us going and played a significant part in helping us overcome all obstacles and uncertainties to bring the joy of riding to them.”

The company first announced the release of its vehicles back on January 26, 2022, and has received enormous responses through numerous bookings. The KRATOS® is priced at INR 1,22,500 (ex-showroom after subsidy) and is available in white colour only. The KRATOS®-R is priced at INR 1,37,500 (ex-showroom after subsidy); and comes in four colour options white, blue, red and black. Currently, KRATOS®-R in white is available for delivery while the bike in the remaining three colours will be on sale for the consumers in the coming months.

Kapil further added, “We are now equipped to enter the next phase of our journey where our focus will purely be on fulfilling our commitment to our customers. Our immediate target is to deliver 200 bikes per month on our current setup. Further with the setup of our Chakan factory is progressing at a steady pace and we will shift our focus to other cities as announced during the launch.” The Chakan plant setup will roll out 3500-4000 bikes per month starting Q4 of this financial year.
