A tornado hit Shengze town of Suzhou, East China`s Jiangsu Province. The reports suggest that at least 15 people were killed. The country is hit by back to back tornados, Wuhan city in central China and Suzhou in east China.

These tornadoes have left 149 slightly wounded citizens, as per the Chinese state media Global Times report. With a maximum wind force of 202 to 220 kms per hour, the tornado is rated at EF3 based on preliminary estimates.

One tornado passed on late Friday night through two districts of Wuhan, capital of Central China`s Hubei Province, killed eight people and injuring 280. The city`s emergency management bureau remains on alert. Twenty-Seven homes collapsed in Wuhan, while another 130 were damaged. Construction site sheds and two cranes were also damaged in this incident. Downed power lines knocked out electricity, Xinhua news agency reported.
