Comic caper Total Dhamaal which has opened to a good response, is slowly and steadily heading towards the Rs 150 crore mark at the box office. Multi-starrer movie is the third part in the Dhamaal franchise and has turned out to be the biggest hit of them all. In fact, it has also become the biggest non-holiday grosser for all its lead stars including Ajay Devgn. On its day 13, the movie made a strong Rs 3 crore with solid trending from tier-2 cities and a drop in metros, taking its 13 days total to Rs 130 crore.

Sharing the box- office collection of Total Dhamaal, trade analyst Taran Adarsh wrote, "#TotalDhamaal is holding very well in mass circuits/single screens... Metros [multiplexes] have slowed down, while Tier-2 cities are strong... [Week 2] Fri 4.75 cr, Sat 7.02 cr, Sun 11.45 cr, Mon 6.03 cr, Tue 3.20 cr, Wed 3 cr. Total: ₹ 130 cr. India biz."

In the overseas markets, the movie has made $5.8 million in 14 days and is soon expected to surpass or at least equals the lifetime overseas collection of Golmaal Again which stands at $7 million. At the US box office, Total Dhamaal has gone past the total lifetime collection of Singham and Singham Returns.
Total Dhamaal is expected to end its week 2 a little over Rs 132 crore. It is directed by Indra Kumar and stars Ajay Devgn, Anil Kapoor, Madhuri Dixit, Arshad Warsi, Riteish Deshmukh and Jaaved Jaaferi.
