Agra: Tourists will not be able to visit the Taj Mahal on Sharad Purnima this time. An official of the Archaeological Survey of India has given information in this regard. An Archaeological Survey of India official said that due to Coronavirus infection, this time on Sharad Purnima, the tourists will not be able to see the 'Chamki' of Taj Mahal.

Significantly, the beauty of the marble-rich Taj Mahal increases in the moonlight night. When the light of the moon falls on its stones, it illuminates. Sharad Purnima is on 30th October i.e. on Friday and 31 October on Saturday. Tourists come from abroad to see the beauty of the shining Taj Mahal on Sharad Purnima. However, this time due to Coronavirus infection, the Taj Mahal is closed at night. Therefore, on Sharad Purnima this year, the tourists will not be able to see 'Chamki' in the Taj Mahal. Two days before the full moon and two days later, the Taj Mahal is opened for tourists.

Eight groups of 50-50 tourists are given the Taj Mahal at night between 8:30 AM and 12:30 PM. For this, tourists have to buy tickets a day in advance. However, this time the Taj Mahal is not being opened. Even the 'viewpoint' created by the ADA on Mehtab Bagh will not make the Taj Mahal visible at night.
