Tovino's investigative thriller 'Forensic' by famous actor of Malayalam cinema hit the screens on 28 February and has successfully entered its second week of theatrical run. The film screened at 255 centers has become a huge success commercially and critically. The audience is very happy, there are reports of such an era that the film is likely to become a sequel.

In an interview with a popular news portal, the film's director hinted at a possible sequel. Tovino has previously expressed his interest to be part of the sequel. It may be noted that the climax of the film gives hope for a sequel. While there is hope that an official term may soon be exhausted. Tovino Thomas plays the role of a medico-legal adviser working in the Forensic Science Lab of Kerala Police in 'Forensics'.
