PM to launch over 15,000 programmes in 'Amrit Mahotsav of Independence from Golden India'

New Delhi: PM Narendra Modi will deliver the keynote address at the national launch program of the program 'Azadi Ke Amrit Mahotsav to Swarnim Bharat Ki Or' through video conferencing today at 10:30 am. In this program, year-long initiatives dedicated to the Amrit Mahotsav of Independence by Brahma Kumaris will be unveiled, which includes more than 30 campaigns, more than 15,000 celebrations and events. Due to this program, PM Narendra Modi will flag off seven initiatives of Brahma Kumaris. These initiatives include 'Mera Bharat Swasth Bharat', Self-reliant India: Self-reliant farmers, Women - India's flag bearers, Power of Peace Bus Campaign, Undiscovered India Cycle Rally, United India Motor Bike Campaign and Green Initiatives under Swachh Bharat Abhiyan.

In the Mera Bharat Swasth Bharat initiative, various events and programs will be organized in medical colleges and hospitals, focusing on spirituality, wellness and nutrition. These celebrations include organizing medical camps, cancer screenings, conferences for doctors and other health care workers, etc. Under self-reliant farmers, 75 farmers empowerment campaigns, 75 farmers conferences, 75 continuous compound agriculture training programs and many such initiatives will be organized for the welfare of farmers.

Under this, the focus will be on social change through women empowerment and girl child empowerment. 75 cities and tehsils will be included in the power of Shanti Bus Abhiyan and an exhibition will be organized about the positive transformation of today's youth. Underlining the relationship between heritage and environment, the Undiscovered India Cycle Rally will be organized at all heritage sites. United India Motor Bike campaign will be organized from Mount Abu to Delhi and many cities will be included under it.
