Himalayan Railway (Darjeeling Himalayan Railway), also known as 'Toy Train' is a short-line railway system running between New Jalpaiguri and Darjeeling in the Indian state of West Bengal, Pradhan said. A special train named 'Red Panda' has been started between Darjeeling to Kurseong which is another hill station in Darjeeling district.

Suman Pradhan, manager of Darjeeling station, said, "We are happy that the toy train service of Darjeeling Himalaya Railway has started." Darjeeling Himalayan Railway is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. It has a short line of 88.48 km which connects New Jalpaiguri to Darjeeling. It passes through a gorge at a height of 2258 meters.
