Toyota Kirloskar Motor is set to broaden its used car business in major cities across India. On this weekend, the company inaugurated its first company-owned Toyota Used Car Outlet (TUCO) in New Delhi, branded as Toyota U-Trust.
According to Takashi Takamiya, Vice President of Toyota Kirloskar Motor, the Indian used car market is expected to grow at a compound annual growth rate (CAGR) of 8%. Currently, this market is 1.3 times larger than the new car market, presenting significant growth opportunities.
"Our expansion in Delhi and plans for more outlets in key cities highlight our strategy to establish a seamless, transparent, and reliable used car market for our customers," Takamiya stated.
Toyota's move to enhance its presence in the used car sector aims to provide customers with a trustworthy platform for buying and selling pre-owned vehicles. The company is committed to maintaining high standards of quality and service, ensuring customer satisfaction in every transaction.
