The compact sedan segment has always been a special identity in the Indian market. However, these days SUV cars are speaking to the heads of customers but still there is no shortage of people who want sedan cars. Honda City, Hyundai Verna and Maruti Suzuki Ciaz managed to make a name in the compact sedan segment. But Toyota Yaris could not spread its fire in India. But now the Japanese carmaker is ready to change it. 

For your information, let us know that Toyota will soon update the Yaris with new features and cosmetic changes. This updated version will be offered with dual-tone exterior paint and diamond-cut alloy wheels. If you tell about the interior, then the company will add Apple CarPlay and Android Auto connectivity features to its infotainment system. Apart from this, the all-black theme and black leather upholstery will also be given in Yaris. Recently, Toyota introduced this 2020 version of Yaris in Brazil. There will be no changes to the Yaris on a mechanical basis. It will come with a 1.5-liter petrol engine like the current model, which is capable of generating 108 PS of power and 140 Nm of torque.

Sales of Yaris in India may be low, but it comes with great features. For example, it is the only car in India whose base model also gets 7-airbags, antilock braking system (ABS), electronic brakeforce distribution (EBD) and brake assist. Also, more safety features are available in its top variants. Company Yaris can reduce its price to make it a more attractive package for customers. Currently, the price of Toyota Yaris is 9.29 lakh to 14.07 lakh rupees (ex-showroom Delhi). The new Yaris is expected to be launched within the next few weeks.
