New Delhi: The worst impact of the lockdown has been on the workers. If the factory and employment are all closed, the economic condition of the workers has worsened. In the coming days, the crisis on the laborers may become more intense. In such a situation, trade unions want the government to give cash incentives to the people whose job is going on. The trade unions raised this suggestion in a meeting with Labor Minister Santosh Gangwar.

The Union Labor Minister has held a meeting with various trade unions to resolve the problems of migrant workers in the present situation. Trade unions were very worried about the problems faced by the workers in moving from one state to another. He said that more trains should be provided for the migrant laborers and also the fare should not be taken from them.

Labor unions also demanded
- Financial assistance should be given to the laborers so that they can nurture their family
- They should also arrange to return to work
- Become a National Register so that the information of migrant workers is recorded and their data is shared so that their interests can be protected.
- MSME should be supported, they should get interest rebate or have the facility to restructure the loan. Raw materials should also be provided for these industries.
- Separate plans should be made for the laborers working in the hotel, cinema, sports and automobile sector
- Companies should also get some exemption so that they can give full money to the laborers.
- Asha and Anganwadi workers who are engaged to help the corona sufferer should get special exemption.
