New Delhi: Reservation has to be made months in advance to travel by train. There are two types of reservations. The first ticket can be booked through reservation window and the second through online medium. But passengers have problems when they suddenly have to travel for some work and do not get reservations. In such a situation, people immediately know the option of ticketing. But today we are telling you the second option in which you can also travel with platform tickets.

If you don't have a reservation and you have boarded the train with only platform tickets, you don't have to worry. You can easily go to the ticket checker and make a ticket. This rule has been framed by the Railways. The person who has boarded the platform ticket will have to immediately contact the TTE and make a ticket wherever he wants to go.

Sometimes, if the seat is not vacant, TTE may refuse to give you a reserve seat. But you can't stop travelling. 250/- and travel fare will be charged from the passenger in case you do not have reservation. These are the essential rules of the Railways that you should know before travelling. The platform ticket makes the passenger eligible to board the train. With this, people will have to pay the fare from the same station from where he has taken the platform ticket. The departure station will also be treated as the same station while charging the fare. And above all, the person will be charged the same category of rent as he is travelling in.
