New Delhi: Three transgenders were nabbed on Thursday in the Sunlight Colony area of southeast Delhi for allegedly robbing a person. They identified the suspects as Rubi (42), Rani (30), and Ravina (20), all of whom are West Bengal natives.

On Tuesday, while patrolling at Yamuna Khadar, a man called Roshan approached police and claimed that three people robbed him while he was on his way to the nearby Shapporji Labour Camp. According to a senior police official, they brought him into the woods and robbed him of Rs 4,500. Police brought the complaint with them into the jungle, where they encountered three people who attempted to flee after seeing them, but were overpowered after a brief chase, according to the officer.
