Transporters go on strike in Delhi-NCR today, Ola-Uber halted

NEW DELHI: The United Front of Transport Association (UFTA) on Thursday called for a one-day strike against several provisions of the Traffic Rules Amendment Act. In fact, in the wake of the strike, people in Delhi-NCR may face a lot of trouble but in the event of a strike, Delhi-NCR people can ride the Metro to reach their destination. Several schools have decided to keep the school closed to avoid the trouble, but the government has not issued any advice or order so far on keeping the school closed.

Simultaneously, closure of schools has been announced due to non-availability of buses through private operators. In fact, the new Motor Vehicles Act is currently being opposed in different states across the country. On the other hand, the state governments are also hesitant to implement it fully and the organizations calling for a strike will include trucks, buses, autos, tempos, maxi cabs and taxis in the UFTA.

The NCR comprises 41 unions and unions represented. You all know that with the number of traffic challans extended by the Central Government, the State Governments have been running for a long time and people object that there are no roads or per capita income according to the rates of the challan, this is causing opposition to the new traffic rules implemented by the central government.

According to reports, many people have received a message from their children's schools that "educational institutions will remain closed on Thursday." According to Bharat Arora, general secretary of the Action Committee of unaided private schools, most of the schools have declared a holiday due to the transporters' strike. According to the Transport Union, autos, taxis, are due to be jammed in NCR on Thursday. 

Private school bus, maxi cab, trains running in Ola and Uber. Under-run cluster buses, rural services, small trucks and 41 unions of large commercial vehicles including tampo have announced that they will not take to the roads from 6 am to 10 pm tomorrow.
