On Sunday, Tribal, Women and Child Welfare Minister Satyavathi Rathod came on field to spread awareness among people from Covid -19. She said that government and private doctors were working in coordination to save the lives of Covid-19 patients besides providing psychological reassurance to the patients.

For your information let us share that the Minister along with local MLA Banoth Shankar Naik, Municipal Chairman Dr Palvai Rammohan Reddy, members of the Indian Medical Association (IMA), district medical and health officials and others, conducted a campaign at the vegetable market, meat market and main junctions in the town on Sunday.

While interacting with the people, she said that the government was taking all steps to provide treatment to the Covid patients by roping in private doctors too. “I must thank all the doctors in the district for their readiness to provide telemedicine and home treatment to those with Covid symptoms. I also thank the IMA, Mahabubabad chapter, for its support in providing medical advice and psychiatric support to the Covid positive cases on phone,” she added.
