Kolkata: The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) in West Bengal may suffer a severe setback. Several leaders in the Trinamool Congress (TMC), which registered a landslide victory in the assembly elections, are coming to light. Sources said either BJP's Bengal vice president Mukul Roy or BJP leader Sudhanshu Roy are expected to go to the TMC. Mukul Roy because the BJP has a big face, it could be a big blow to the party.

Amid speculation that Mukul Roy will return to TMC, the TMC today convened a crucial meeting at 3 pm, which will be attended by Mamata Banerjee and a select few leaders. It will be similar to a core committee meeting with no agenda. But the party is planning how and when the leader from the BJP will be included in the TMC. How will TMC make its mark at the national level in the coming days? And the most important issue will be what the strategy of TMC will be in the coming days.

The issue of including leaders from the other party seems to be divided into two parts TMC. Some say that when Bengal has an absolute majority government of TMC, what is the need to bring leaders from the BJP? This should be considered after a few years. But there is a councilor's election in the state. Many people have good grip on the ground. The party may need such people. So the party can rerecruit such leaders based on their names, faces and grassroots grip.
