Kolkata: Another MLA from the ruling Party Trinamool Congress (TMC) in West Bengal will join Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP). Wilson Champarai, tMC MLA from Kalchini in Alipurdwar, said, "I am going to join the BJP today. Along with me, 18 councillors will also join the BJP.

In Delhi, all these leaders joined the BJP in the presence of West Bengal BJP in-charge Kailash Vijayvargiya and Mukul Roy. Earlier in the day, Noapada's TMC MLA Sunil Singh had also joined the BJP along with 12 TMC councillors and a Congress councilor. Kailash Vijayvargiya and party leader Mukul Roy were present to get the BJP membership to the new members.
