The case of triple talaq has still not changed and now a case has come to light that is shocking. The case is being reported to Saharanpur in Uttar Pradesh. In this case, a woman has voiced against triple talaq and Halala. The woman alleged that her husband divorced her and is now pressuring her uncle and younger brother to make a stir. When she resisted, she was beaten up and thrown out of the house. The victim has now met the District Magistrate of Saharanpur and sought action against the accused.
It is reported that the case pertains to Shahamdar Mohalla of Nagar Kotwali and the victim, Rabia, reached the district magistrate's office on Monday. She was accompanied by Supreme Court Advocate Farha Faiz and Rabiya accused her husband, Rao Munir of first three divorces, then pressuring her younger brother Suhail Mohammed or his uncle Rao Leik Ahmed for Halala.
In the case, the victim said that "when she protested, she was beaten up and thrown out of the house." Earlier, the victim had filed a dowry harassment report against her husband, Devar, mother-in-law and husband's uncle at the police station and the victim, Rabiya, said that "on January 30, 2017, she had gone to Jaipur in a relation with her husband Rao Munir.
After a week's stay there, when she asked her husband to go back home, she asked to leave a day later. When he asked to go back home the same day, Rao Munir got angry. She told him that she didn't deserve to be with him, from now on he would end the relationship with her. "When she returned from Jaipur and asked her to stay with her husband, her husband asked her to have a Halala with her uncle or younger brother," said Rabia, adding that there are reports that District Magistrate Alok Kumar Pandey has taken charge of the investigation.
