Triumph Motorcycles India, the world's leading vehicle manufacturer, continues to flourish. The India company has introduced its 2020 Triumph Street Triple R. This is a new naked middleweight motorcycle priced at Rs 8.84 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi). The company has positioned it below the top-spec Triumph Street Triple RS and priced it at Rs 11.33 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi). The company has already started booking the Street Triple R and will have to pay a token amount of Rs 1 lakh. The Street Triple R will be replaced by the Street Triple S, which is the base model and is being sold in the country.

The company has provided the 765cc in-line three-cylinder engine in the Triumph Street Triple R. However, this engine comes with a very low tune. The Street Triple R engine delivers 116 bhp at 12,000rpm, while the RS engine delivers 121 bhp at 11,750rpm. However, torque is seen at 79 bhp at the same 9,350 rpm. The Street Triple R gets a different rake and trail compared to the Street Triple RS

If we talk about other features, the Street Triple R features an analogue console digital part instead of the TFT instrument console. The same is like the old generation model. Colours and graphics are seen differently in the R model. Talking about bicycle parts, the Street Triple R gets 310 mm twin discs with Brembo M4.32 four-piston monoblock capillaries, while the M50 capillaries are seen in the RS model. Apart from this, the R model is 2 kg heavier than the RS and its total weight is 168 kg, while the Street Triple RS motorcycle used to see 166 kg.
