Karimnagar: Addressing a media conference in Huzurabad on Thursday, BJP leader and former minister Eatala Rajender said that the Dalit Bandhu scheme was implemented to get the votes of Dalits. He alleged that the TRS leadership was making fun of democracy by misusing the power to win the Huzurabad bypoll. If TRS government cares for Dalits, why can't it implement this scheme in the entire state? he questioned.

Asking why Finance Minister T Harish Rao is not paying attention to the issue, he said, "The state's economy is in turmoil and Rs 4,000 crore fee reimbursement is pending." Eatala said that the government has not yet given pension to people below 57 years of age. He alleged that KCR had trapped the state in a debt trap. "TRS government had promised to issue job notification during MLC elections, but not a single notification has been issued till now.

The government is focusing only on Huzurabad by-election. People of Huzurabad know everything and will give a befitting reply to TRS in the upcoming election. Eatala said that while Rs 10,000 crore was spent on paddy procurement, the Center provides Rs 7,000 crore. Former BJP MLA M Dharma Rao, leader Tula Uma and others were present.
