The last date for enrollment for the assembly elections will end on November 6, 2020. Trs has not yet announced candidates for both council seats. While sitting MLC Palla Rajeshwar Reddy campaigned in Khammam-Warangal-Nalgonda, there is no clarity from the party on the Hyderabad-Ranga Reddy-Mahabubnagar seat. The party has taken up the registration of graduate voters in the campaign mode. According to TRS leaders, the party has so far added more than 2 lakh graduates in two constituencies. This number is likely to increase with a few more days left to enroll.

However, the party has not yet announced the candidates for the elections. The party has appointed two graduate constituencies including Palla Rajeshwar Reddy, President of Ritu Bandhu Samiti and Sheri Subhash Reddy for Khammam-Warangal-Nalgonda for Hyderabad-Ranga Reddy-Mahabubnagar graduate samaj. Party leaders said sitting member Palla Rajeshwar Reddy is likely to get a second ticket. He is actively participating in enrolment drives and meetings with graduates in three districts. There is suspense on the other seat. Hyderabad Mayor Bontu Rammohan was not in the list of possible leaders.

The sources said that the names of former TNGO leader and former Telangana Beverages Corporation Chairman G Devi Prasad, Chief Minister's Secretary and poet Desapati Srinivas are also making rounds for the HYD-RR-MBNR seat. Devi Prasad failed from this seat in 2016. Sources said Devi Prasad was not interested in contesting and was hoping for a seat under governor's quota or under mla quota. If the party orders contesting elections, the TRS leader may not say no. MLCs Rajeshwar Reddy and N Ramchander Rao's tenure ends on March 29, 2021. The ECI will publish draft lists on December 1 and final rolls will be published on January 18 after the objections are removed.
