Gopalganj: In the Gopalganj district of Bihar on Saturday, a high-speed truck crushed two children riding a bicycle. A student died on the spot in the accident, while the injured student has been admitted to Sadar Hospital for treatment. At the same time, after the accident, angry people vandalized the truck. The incident is on NH 27 near Banjari Mor in the Nagar police station area.

The deceased student has been identified as Roma Kumari, the 14-year-old daughter of Anoop Prasad, a resident of Pasrama village in Nagar police station. According to the information received, this morning two children were going to coaching by bicycle. Meanwhile, while crossing the semi-built overbridge on NH-27 near Banjari, a truck coming at a high speed from UP crushed both the children. At the same time, after the accident, the truck driver left the truck and fled.

At the same time, people resentful of the death of the girl started vandalizing the truck and blocked the highway. Due to the jam, a long line of vehicles started and operations came to a standstill. At the same time, upon receiving the information of the incident, Sadar CO Vijay Kumar Singh and City Inspector Prashant Kumar reached the spot and calmed the angry family and the villagers by persuading them.
