Washington: After facing all-round criticism over the suspension of work visas till December of this year, the Trump administration has said that spouses and dependents of H1B visa holders currently stranded in India will be allowed to return to the US. After this new order, the restrictions imposed by the Trump administration on 22 June could be modified further. Earlier, the Trump administration stated that the new visa application would be suspended due to the economic crisis created by the coronavirus epidemic.

According to the Economic Times report, according to the Trump administration's directive, any person not holding visas valid until 24 June on H-1B, H4, J1, and H2A visas will not be allowed to travel the country until 31 December. Those who want to apply for a visa will not be able to apply until the US Embassy and Consulate in India are active. These embassies are closed since March under the lockdown imposed by the government in the Coronavirus epidemic.

According to media reports, the new rules will not allow all H-1B visa holders to return. Recently, a team of 174 Indian citizens reached the court against this decision after the Trump administration banned the new visas on the H-1B / H-4 of 10052, resulting in the US economy degradation and further, families will also be separated from each other. Thus leading to a change in the decision of Trump administration
